A startup that enables companies to optimize their marketing and revenue streams through partner channels has raised a $6 million seed round from Insight Partners.
Relevize, which was launched in Boston in 2020, has designed a platform that allows companies to simplify the way they use channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Hubspot, among others, to distribute digital campaigns.

The startup’s cofounder and CEO Michael Nardella said it enabled marketing teams to “maximize the return on channel marketing spend.”
Relevize aims to make the process of sellers interacting with multiple partner channels less complex by collating all digital campaigns into a single platform.
Companies start by onboarding onto Relevize’s platform and creating paid programs with a target audience in mind. Companies can choose to onboard new partner channels through Relevize, and based on the data provided on their campaign outreach, amend their marketing strategies.
Partners can also use Relevize to follow up with leads to “generate more pipeline and increase deals,” Nardella added. The aim is to ensure partner marketing teams can “efficiently scale their programs,” which in turn translates to more sales and additional vendor dollars.
The startup makes its money by selling its software to tech companies such as Chili Piper and WatchGuard, and is geared towards those who want to venture beyond direct-to-consumer marketing strategies.
“We also sell our software directly to resale partners so that they can use it to more effectively manage and track the leads they receive through digital programs,” Nardella told Insider.
When the team started fundraising, Nardella noted that the investor landscape was tightening, so they priced the round “reasonably out of the gate.” The seed round was led by global VC and private equity firm Insight Partners, which has backed the likes of Shopify and Twitter, with additional participation from existing investors Hyperplane, Newfund, 1984.vc, and Weekend Fund.
With the fresh funds, Relevize will build out its product, engineering, and customer service teams.
