Handly is a Berlin-based service-tech startup that Bastian Meyer and Klaas Krüger founded.
It acts as a “digital assistant” that helps companies in the home-improvement industry run their businesses.
Handly’s first product is a platform that helps craftspeople organize booking requests from customers, making them able to plan more efficiently.
It’s now adding a payments feature and fintech software that will help craftspeople with the pre-financing of expensive goods, among other things, Bastian Meyer, a cofounder and the CEO of Handly, said.
The startup recently raised a 1.5 million euro, which is about $1.5 million, pre-seed round from investors including venture capital fund The Delta and notable angel investors including Shutterstock founder Jon Oringer, HomeToGo founder Patrick Andrae, Wefox founder Julian Teicke, and OneFootball founder Lucas von Cranach.
Insider has an exclusive copy of the pitch deck Handly used to raise the funds.
